I' m delighted to share my passion for English teaching with you. Over the past 20 years, it has been my privilege to tutor university students, graduates and ESL students from many backgrounds and cultures. I have a Master's of Linguistics, a graduate diploma in teaching and have been a professional English teacher here in Dunedin, New Zealand since 2006.

In all my years of teaching, I have found that the most important factor for success is a good relationship between the teacher and her student. I enjoy getting to know my students interests and learning goals, and helping them on the pathway to achieving their ambitions. That is why I offer all of my students a free 15 minute session, so we can get to know one another and develop a clear learning programme.

About me
​​When I'm not teaching English, I enjoy gardening on our rambling property, hiking, and spending time with my husband and three delightful children.
​
As a family, we love going to the beach, swimming and spending time with friends, extended family and our faith community.
​
I love travel, both here in New Zealand and overseas. I've been fortunate to visit Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, but there are so many more countries and cultures that I'd love to explore!
​
When it's cold outside, I can often be found curled up with a book and a good, strong cup of coffee.
